I would like to thank @SPD_Travels on X for highlighting the addition of Manchester to Berlin which prompted me to check flights from Glasgow.
Jet2.com has announced it will be operating two new destinations from Glasgow this November and December, aimed at travellers wanting to experience European Christmas Markets.
Flights will operate to both Berlin in Germany and Vienna in Austria, full details can be found below.

Berlin
Flights to the German capital will operate every Monday and Friday from November 29th until December 16th.
Monday
- Flight LS115 will depart Glasgow at 1530 and arrive in Berlin at 1840
- Flight LS116 will depart Berlin at 1930 and arrive in Glasgow at 2050
Friday
- Flight LS115 will depart Glasgow at 0800 and arrive in Berlin at 1110
- Flight LS116 will depart Berlin at 1200 and arrive in Glasgow at 1320
It should also be noted that easyJet operate flights to Berlin, and budget travellers may be able to save by booking flights with both airlines and making their own holiday.
Vienna
Flights to the Austrian capital will depart every Thursday and Sunday from November 28th and December 22nd.
Thursday
- Flight LS149 will depart Glasgow at 0800 and arrive in Vienna at 1150
- Flight LS150 will depart Vienna at 1240 and arrive in Glasgow at 1430
Sunday
- Flight LS149 will depart Glasgow at 1525 and arrive in Vienna at 1915
- Flight LS150 will depart Vienna at 2005 and arrive in Glasgow at 2155
The addition of these flights to Vienna marks the only flights between Glasgow and Vienna, a route which I believe will be a welcome addition to Glasgow travellers.
