easyJet tonight (June 10th) announced a number of new routes from across Scotland, with Edinburgh and Glasgow both benefiting from the expansion.

Below is a breakdown of each new route, as well as information on the number of routes easyJet serve from both airports, lets start with Edinburgh.

Edinburgh Airport

Edinburgh to Agadir – Year Round

A new 2x weekly service from Edinburgh to Agadir (Morocco) will operate from November 6th every Wednesday and Saturday.

Edinburgh to Prague

easyJet will return their Edinburgh to Prague route from summer only to year round, with a 2x weekly service operating on Friday and Sunday throughout winter.

  • 1055-1220 EZY3326 Prague to Edinburgh (Friday)
  • 1745-2055 EZY3325 Edinburgh to Prague (Sunday)

Overall easyJet will serve 32 destinations from Edinburgh with 9 based aircraft.

Glasgow Airport

Glasgow to Enfidha

A 2x weekly service to Enfidha (Tunisia) will operate this winter for the first time with easyJet every Tuesday and Saturday

Glasgow to Fuerteventura – Winter Only

A new 2x weekly service from Glasgow to Fuerteventura will operate from October 30th every Wednesday and Saturday.

easyJet will fly to 26 destinations and have 5 aircraft based in Glasgow during the winter, with 6 based during the summer.

Are Any Other Scottish Airports Benefiting?

Although not a new route, easyJet are expanding frequencies on two routes from Aberdeen.

A second weekly flight between Aberdeen and Geneva has been added on Wednesday’s, operating weekly between December 18th – January 8th and also between February 5th and March 26th.

  • 1000-1320 EZS1588 Aberdeen to Geneva (Wednesday)

A third weekly flight between Aberdeen and London Luton has also been added, operating on Tuesday commencing December 3rd, the timings of the new flight are as follows.

  • 1450-1615 EZY616 Aberdeen to Luton (Tuesday)

Editors Note: It appears that easyJet will not be serving Glasgow to Lisbon this winter, this route operated 2x weekly last year.
