Within the last week Jet2.com and Jet2 CityBreaks have unveiled their largest ever Christmas Market programme from Scotland with a new route from Edinburgh, as well as a new route and extended seasons from Glasgow operating in 2025.
The airline will offer both dedicated Christmas flights in addition to their regularly scheduled programme of flying to Prague and Krakow.
Full details of the airlines Christmas Market programme can be found below, separated by Scottish departure point.
Edinburgh Airport (EDI)
For Winter 2025 flights to Estonia will return to EDI with a twice weekly service to the capital Tallinn lifting off every Thursday and Sunday from November 27th until December 21st.

Flights will be operated by Jet2’s Boeing 737-800 series of aircraft.
A dedicated programme of flights to the Austrian capital of Vienna will also depart every Thursday and Sunday between November 20th and January 4th (except Christmas and New Years Day, flights will depart on December 23rd and 30th instead!).

Capacity to Vienna has been further enhanced as the airline announced it will deploy its larger Airbus A321 aircraft on the route, replacing the smaller Boeing 737-800.
The airline will also operate its regularly scheduled flights to Prague every Thursday and Sunday from October 2nd until March 29th (except Christmas and New Years Day, flights will depart on December 23rd and 30th instead!).

If you are “Czech”ing out the Prague Christmas Markets you will benefit from extra capacity as the airline will deploy its larger A321 aircraft on the route over the festive season.
Glasgow Airport (GLA)
Jet2.com and Jet2 CityBreaks will also increase their dedicated Christmas Market programme from Glasgow with the introduction of a twice weekly season of flights to Budapest, joining Berlin and Vienna which launched this year.
Flights to the Hungarian capital will depart Monday and Fridays between November 28th and December 15th using Jet2’s Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Berlin flights will operate for an additional week when compared to this year and will depart Glasgow every Monday and Friday between November 28th and December 22nd.

In addition to the expanded programme of dedicated routes, the airline will also operate their regularly scheduled flights to Prague and Krakow.
Prague flights operate Thursday and Sundays between October 30th 2025 and April 26th 2026, with flights to the Polish city of Krakow operating Monday and Friday between September 1st 2025 and May 15th 2026.
Travellers from Glasgow will benefit from additional capacity on flights to Berlin, Krakow, Prague and Vienna as the airline will operate their A321 aircraft from Glasgow for the first time.
Are Other Christmas Market Destinations Available?
Travellers can use Jet2’s Vienna routes from both Edinburgh and Glasgow to access the Slovakian capital Bratislava.
Package holidays can be booked through Jet2 CityBreaks, however, transfers are not included, meaning you will need to make the short transfer from Vienna to Bratislava yourself.
