Scotland’s largest airline has confirmed details of its largest ever summer season from Scotland, with flights from four airports to over 50 destinations across the UK, Europe and North Africa.
Flights will operate from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness with the airline also confirming it will base sixteen aircraft in Scotland, its highest ever total.
Aberdeen Airport
easyJet will operate two domestic routes from Aberdeen next summer, with it’s popular London Gatwick and London Luton flights both operating.
Flights to Gatwick depart twice daily, services to Luton will operate up to five times a week.
At present easyJet operates no international flights from Aberdeen during the summer.
Edinburgh Airport
easyJet will expand its flight offering from Edinburgh next summer with the addition of a tenth based aircraft in the Scottish Capital.
The orange airline has also announce that six new routes will operate from Edinburgh next summer, these are:
- Dusseldorf – 2x week from May 2nd
- Enfidha – 2x week from May 3rd
- Marrakesh – 2x week from May 1st
- Milan Malpensa – 7x week from March 30th
- Olbia – 2x week from May 1st
- Zurich – 2x week from May 2nd
Furthermore, the airline has also announced that it’s Derry/Londonderry and Agadir services will continue to operate next summer having started in November.
Of these routes Enfidha, Olbia, Milan Malpensa and Derry/Londonderry are exclusive routes to easyJet at Edinburgh Airport.
easyJet will operate flights to 44 destinations from Edinburgh, of which 14 will be exclusive to easyJet.
It should be noted however that easyJet will not operate its Kefalonia or Santorini flights next summer.
Glasgow Airport
Glasgow’s largest airline by seats available has made several changes to its Glasgow operations next summer.
The airline will continue to base six aircraft in Scotland’s largest city, however, has announced three new routes, while suspending three routes.
Destinations joining the easyJet network from Glasgow are;
- Antalya – 2x week from June 4th
- Reus – 2x week from June 2nd
- Prague – 2x week from March 30th (this route launched in November 2024 and will operate year round)
Despite these new additions, flights to Lisbon, Newquay and Marseille will not operate next year.
easyJet will operate flights to 30 destinations from Glasgow, of which 17 will be exclusive to easyJet. It does appear the the return of aircraft 6 to Glasgow has been delayed from May to June, potentially impacting Glasgow Airport passenger numbers in Q2 of 2025.
Inverness Airport
easyJet will operate three domestic routes from Inverness next summer, with flights operating to Bristol, London Gatwick and London Luton.
Services to Bristol operate daily, with Gatwick and Luton benefiting from a minimum of two departures per day.
easyJet operate no international routes from Inverness at any time of year.
