Edelweiss Expands Scottish Service to Glasgow

Edelweiss, the leading Swiss holiday airline today (January 13, 2026) announced the introduction of a new Scottish destination, with a twice weekly service this summer to Glasgow, operating from Switzerland’s largest city Zurich.

Flights will operate every Monday and Friday from May 29th until September 14th 2026, operated by the airline’s Airbus A320 aircraft equipped with 174 seats (12 business and 162 economy seats).

The introduction of this route marks the first time Glasgow has had a direct flight to Switzeland during the Scottish summer season in at least 10 years.

Flight WK294 will leave Zurich at 1140 arriving into Glasgow at 1300 every Monday

Flight WK295 will leave Glasgow at 1350 arriving into Zurich at 1705 every Monday


Flight WK294 will leave Zurich at 1340 arriving into Glasgow at 1500 every Friday

Flight WK295 will leave Glasgow at 1550 arriving into Zurich at 1905 every Friday
