Norwegian has announced that it will expand its Scottish network with the introduction of a new route to Tromsø, and in an exciting news for travellers, this service will depart from Glasgow, marking the airlines first ever service from Scotland’s largest city.
Commencing on December 11th 2026, this new service will operate 2x week, with Monday and Friday services between the two cities, flight details are as follows;
Tromsø to Glasgow: 1510-1715 (Monday)
Glasgow to Tromsø: 1755-2145 (Monday)
Tromsø to Glasgow: 1110-1315 (Friday)
Glasgow to Tromsø: 1355-1745 (Friday)
This new service means Norwegian is the 6th new carrier to announce service to Glasgow this year, joining United, WestJet, Edelweiss, Eurowings and Air Charter Scotland. The addition of Tromsø to the Glasgow Airport network also marks the airlines first scheduled service to Norway since 2017 when Loganair operated flights to Bergen.
